46 days to go …
Well have had the grand skip filling – and now its on to the wardrobe sorting … no sign of Narnia at the back of mine … but its been cold enough! :?
Started back at HH after half term – now have a student teacher to look after as well as my class of ‘dahlings’
Those of you who have known me since before my blog will know about my accupuncture sessions and how they have changed my life … for the good ! :)
I had a session last Wednesday that made me feel quite drunk!
Apparently it does happen – but it was very very strange – at least there was no hangover 8)
I think I have let lucky with my accupuncturist though – she’s an absolute gem – I’ve recommended accupuncture to others but they don’t seem to have been as lucky as me …
Think I will be getting some pins to stick in my team though
– threw away a 16 nil lead on Friday … I still think its the coach I DO NOT LIKE THAT MAN! :x
Time for monday’s 2nd Corrie episode and a snuggle under my duvet … its ever so chilly tonight ….

Thanks to Mrs Bits for the following enlightening email …
(you want to check it for legally binding stuff before April Me Dear!?! ;) )
HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHO TO MARRY?
You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips and dip coming. — Alan, age 10
No person really decides before they grow up who they’re going to marry. God decides it all way before, and you get to find out later who you’re stuck with. — Kristen, age 10
WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE TO GET MARRIED?
Twenty-three is the best age because you know the person FOREVER by then. — Camille, age 10
No age is good to get married at. You got to be a fool to get married. — Freddie, age 6 (very wise for his age)
HOW CAN A STRANGER TELL IF TWO PEOPLE ARE MARRIED?
You might have to guess, based on whether they seem to be yelling at the same kids. — Derrick, age 8
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR MOM AND DAD HAVE IN COMMON?
Both don’t want any more kids. — Lori, age 8
WHAT DO MOST PEOPLE DO ON A DATE?
Dates are for having fun, and people should use them to get to know each other. Even boys have something to say if you listen long enough. — Lynnette, age 8 (isn’t she a treasure)
On the first date, they just tell each other lies and that usually gets them interested enough to go for a second date. — Martin, age 10
WHAT WOULD YOU DO ON A FIRST DATE THAT WAS TURNING SOUR?
I’d run home and play dead. The next day I would call all the newspapers and make sure they wrote about me in all the dead columns. — Craig, age 9
WHEN IS IT OKAY TO KISS SOMEONE?
When they’re rich. — Pam, age 7
The law says you have to be eighteen, so I wouldn’t want to mess with that. – - Curt, age 7
The rule goes like this: If you kiss someone, then you should marry them and have kids with them. It’s the right thing to do. — Howard, age 8
IS IT BETTER TO BE SINGLE OR MARRIED?
It’s better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean up after them. — Anita, age 9 (bless you child)
HOW WOULD THE WORLD BE DIFFERENT IF PEOPLE DIDN’T GET MARRIED?
There sure would be a lot of kids to explain, wouldn’t there? — Kelvin, age 8
And the #1 Favourite is……..
HOW WOULD YOU MAKE A MARRIAGE WORK?
Tell your wife that she looks pretty, even if she looks like a truck. — Ricky, age 10

And as an example
> Q: How many women with PMS does it take to change a light bulb?
> A: One!!! ONLY ONE!!!! And do you know WHY?
Because no one else in this house knows HOW to
change a light bulb! They don’t even know that the
bulb is BURNED OUT!! They’d sit there in the dark
for THREE DAYS before they figured it out!! And,
once they figured it out, they wouldn’t be able to
find the light bulbs despite the fact they’ve been in
the SAME CUPBOARD for the past 13 YEARS! But
if they did, by some miracle of God, actually find
the bulbs 2 DAYS LATER, the chair they dragged to
stand on to change the STUPID light bulb would
STILL BE IN THE SAME SPOT!!!!! AND UNDERNEATH IT
WOULD BE THE WRAPPER THE STUPID LIGHT BULBS CAME
IN!!! BECAUSE NO ONE EVER CARRIES OUT THE
GARBAGE!!!! IT’S A WONDER WE HAVEN’T ALL
SUFFOCATED FROM THE PILES OF GARBAGE THAT ARE A FOOT
DEEP THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE!! IT WOULD TAKE
AN ARMY TO CLEAN THIS DAMNED HOUSE!
> I’m sorry. What was your question?
My favourite ones are 3 and 6 …..

54 days to go ….. :D
Well the RL season has kicked off – and some things have stayed the same – yes we lost but I’m NOT BOTHERED (points to chest!!!!
)
It was on the cards that the fantabulous Stacey Jones would run riot through the shadow of my team – we were not firing on many cylinders at all – from the forward pass that began our game to the dropped balls all over the place and as for the holes in defence … I could have scored !!!!
so much for Mr ’super coach’ … the looks of dispair on his face with every Catalan try made my night!!!
Wonder how much grace he will be given before being shown the door – and before anyone says ‘yes but it was only the first game’ – what I saw was just a continuation of what was happening last season when he took over except he’s got some new faces who are still following the same useless game plan … :x
Still its half term – and after another crazy week of disruption and rumour and panic – its quite good to be at home … except my skip filling isn’t progressing as well as it could (M
) – I have SOOO much rubbish – most of it school related – any prospective teachers reading this here’s a hint : Don’t hoard! If you haven’t used it in the last 2 years bin it – and don’t take stuff home unless its absolutely vital !! I’ve put stuff in bags I didn’t know why I had it the first place !!!
so this is just a tea break … tho Spartacus is on TV … no must resist …
Weather can’t make its mind up – we’ve had 2 days of a yellow thing in the sky – with quite chilly nights – but today its pouring down :( hope thats not what the week’s got in store
Still British February can have any kind of weather (as can the other 11 months!!!!)
The first Winter I was here in Rugby the snow cut off the Midlands from most of the rest of the country for about 4 days
This time last year I was in Warsaw experiencing how other countries cope … they didn’t get cut off …
it was cold yes … but the hot chocolate (and the voddie) made all the difference …
Suppose I better get back to my chores ….
I’m Spartacus! ….

63 days to go ….
Wow talk about time’s winged chariot … it’ll be getting a speeding ticket at this rate …
The ‘perps’ of our crime are still at large … knew they should have sent for Grissom’s team – only takes them an hour to solve things and ‘bang up’ the bad guys …. (that means put them behind bars … prison … just incase I’ve further confused people in to thinking about fireworks or alcohol … or anything else Mr D!!
)
Life at the hh still h … but the light at the end of this present tunnel is growing brighter daily ….
The Warriors (of the Wigan variety) were in action on Thurs for Mr Radklinski’s belated testimonial game – but he’s still injured :( fortunately not enough to stop him sending me ‘all ‘ his love via a signed programme …
(Thanks Missdougall! ;) I’ll be grabbing Mr Wild to return the favour
)
They did managed to carve a win in the second half (just what is THAT man doing to my team??????) – but the season proper is just one week away !!!!!!
Will I be going to my last Grand Final at OT??? ooooooooooo?????????????
You’ll just have to stay tuned …..
