Back to Earth with a bump!
Can’t believe how quickly yesterday arrived 
Just hope July 31st arrives even quicker …
Have had a ball these last 4 weeks 
– we’ve been up and down the country – seen castles, walked miles, laughed loads and I’ve had the best time ever … 
(can’t speak for the other half … but I have my suspicions … 
)
Feels like there’s something missing now tho … 
Still the new count down will begin as soon as My Beloved 
has got over his jet lag …
and I’ve one or two things to keep me occupied for now 
– a whole new adventure begins next week in Y3 …

I’ve had the best holiday ever!
Mags was a fantasic host
and really looked after me.I got to meet all the friends and some of Mags’ family, and we did lots of traveling and seeing and doing things. Everyone was so nice and friendly to me, it was great!
I not only had a neat Easter
but also a wonderful birthday too! Mags really spoiled me with presents and breakfast in bed, and Marg (aka The Fairy Godmother) even sent us a Desert Island Kit with lots of goodies so we could pretend we were on our own desert island! Awesome! Thanks FGM! 
Mandy’s wedding and Linzi’s 21st party were good fun (there’s a rumour that I may have actually danced
at the 21st, but so far no photos have surfaced to offer proof!)
As Mags said we visited castles, went on a couple of long walks (beautiful country-side up in the Lake District), walked around Draycote Water, went on a Sherlock Holmes walk, stayed in a couple of fantastic old manor houses, drank and ate in some old pubs, went and say The Mousetrap play in London, shopped at Tesco’s, and generally had a fantasic time!
