"dragged" is a Kiwi phrase that you may not have heard over in the UK. When someone says they are being "dragged" to some event it means that they're really keen to go and wild horses couldn't drag them back from attending the event. Although this may seem strange usage of the word "dragged" it actually makes perfect sense when you know that many Kiwi phrases employ opposites. So I'm not saying that you are "dragging me" somewhere, I'm actually saying that "you couldn't drag me away" from somewhere. Makes sense now?
