Happy 2007
Ok so I’m a week late! ![]()
But I’ve been busy!!! ![]()
We saw the New Year in unexpectedly in Gloucester at my sister’s because of the nasty weather
but it was good fun cos it gave My Beloved
a chance to impress la Famille with his XPSPBox (sic) skills via his magic thumbs
and certainly won friends and influenced people
which is not surprising really as he’s a total sweetheart

Went to
NZ
House Thursday to see if they’ll let me in the country and were seen by another set of twinkling Kiwi eyes (they all have em I tell ya!!
) really just confirmed what we knew – get the paperwork done and wait – possibly for 4 months!!! ![]()
We then did a small tour of London – using the map in my head!!! Maybe I should try out for ‘The Knowledge’ ![]()
Had dinner in a really lovely little Italian restaurant too … ![]()
Friday was the annual 12th Night Bash at Heather’s where My Beloved
was initiated into the Hope Whistling Orchestra
(on tour at a venue near you soon!!!
) – my craziness
doesn’t seem to be so crazy anymore
Last night
and me went to a murder mystery dinner entitled ‘Malice in Wonderland’ which was as mad as it sounds
– we identified the murderer and almost got all the reasons why
– but did provide the actors with a new idea to add to the script for next time
Today we’re about to head off to find us some Vikings … ![]()
for now

I just want to say that I’ve had a wonderful time in the UK!
I’d like to thank Mags’ family and friends for making me feel so welcome. Thank you! The kindness and hospitality you’ve all shown me has been great and I hope to see you all again some time (maybe when you visit New Zealand?!?)
I’d also like to thank Marg for letting me have five weeks off and holding the fort while I’ve been away. Margie, you’re the bestest!
And of course I want to thank Mags for giving me another special trip and taking the time and effort to show me her lovely country. Mags, you’re one in a million and I love you soooooo much! I can’t wait to start our new life together in New Zealand. Thank you, darling!
