It’s been great to catch up on all your happenings after being away from civilisation for so long!
What goodies have you been receiving in the mail from my lovely brother??
Did you receive anything particularly special today?? (well, it’s just the very start of the day for you over there….)
Murray – I just LOVE the way you recovered from your “being dragged to…” comment – it made me laugh out loud and I’m still wiping the tears from my eyes!! (Though, of course, I can vouch that everything he said is the absolute truth…. )
I have had a lovely lot of goodies from the man Himself…
a card or 2 (ok 8!) and a Love Heart Bear, gift box, red rose and more loveheart sweets than I’ve ever had in my life …
(but I’m saving those for April… ;) )
My plans to shower Himself with cards seems to have been thwarted and have taken the most time of anything I’ve sent to get there (I hope they have!!) :x
But the surprise flower and the package of ‘treats’ did arrive ok for him …
and there was the extra phone call this morning ….
Hope you had a great holiday Cindy – did you get to do much diving?
I hope you will point out further words I may ‘misunderstand’ when Murray uses them in a context which may have a different meaning over here
I don’t want to make any faux pas when I get to you in August … I look forward to being ‘dragged’ all over the place ;) :P
Well he can try – but I do have that streak of Delaney stubborness running right through me …
(You mean ‘dragged’ doesn’t actually mean having doors opened for you, cloaks put over puddles for you to step on, and duels fought to protect a lady’s reputation? …. awwwwwwwww )

I hate to be the one bursting bubbles, but no, sadly – Sir Walter is long gone and anyways – methinks the lady would prefer Murray!

(in fact, I’m positive! – apparently the folk from that era were not very hygenic and his cloak probably would not have been washed for a good couple of years – pooh – what a pong!)
